Our 'Mission' Statement
The Glen Cove Yacht Club (GCYC)
has been founded with the goal to
provide a social atmosphere,
focused on recreational boating,
that promotes boating safety and
education.

We are the newest Club in the Bay Area and our founding members have
worked to establish a club that is affordable, approachable, has a diverse
membership, and most importantly remains FUN! Whether you are new to
boating or an old salt, we welcome your interest in our Club.
Benefits of becoming a member of the GCYC include: PICYA Membership,
monthly cruise and anchor outs, participation in regularly scheduled social
events, coordinated events with other local Clubs, opportunity to participate in
educational programs, and many more as we grow!
We are a volunteer run, not-for-profit, “paper” Club, that is to say we do not yet
have a formal Club building. This allows us to keep our membership fees
reasonable while building the Club membership to a level that will eventually
support a Club house and expanded membership offerings.

| Friday Night Pot Lucks At The Marina (Unless Someone Wants To Do A Special Night Meal) Kick-Off 5:00p Dinner Served 6:00p+ We are welcomed to bring an extra appetizer, salad or dessert to share with others. Help is always needed for setup, breakdown, and clean-up after every Friday night BBQ whether the Chef is cooking or not. _______________________ |
